Business Development Manager

We are working on behalf of a leading Technology supplier based in Woodbridge who are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their team.

As a Business Development Manager, you will identify, qualify, and close new business to achieve targets and farm existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and secure existing and additional revenues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and drive new business opportunities across various markets and sectors
  • To manage existing accounts.
  • Initiate sales and marketing activities throughout the allocated part of the UK / Vertical market.
  • Establish relations, and liaise closely with, the engineer / support team to attain a good level of customer satisfaction, which is integral while rendering services to the clients.
  • Regular reviews with line manager, which include reporting on sales goals, efficiencies, and overall performance, through periodic reports and one-on-one meetings.
  • Achieve set KPIs
  • To maintain and upload relevant prospect/customer information into the company's CRM system

Skills & Requirements:

  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or relevant role.
  • Proven sales track record.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Strong command of English (reading, verbal, and written skills).
  • A good understanding of IT systems and network infrastructure
  • Previous experience of customer interaction is a necessity.
  • Must have a full UK driving licence
  • Good time management and planning skills

This is a Hybrid working position consisting of working from home, office and on-site visits with prospects and clients. The successful candidate must be willing to travel.
