The company:
You will be joining a well-known large-scale manufacturing company in the UK. They have recently been taken over by an international organisation and are continually growing. The role:
Due to the continuous growth of the manufacturing department, the organisation is seeking an experienced manufacturing professional to oversee the production and supervise the team within the factory.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure all Health & Safety regulations and quality standards are adhered to.
- Maintain and lead a lean culture throughout the department.
- Improve machine efficiency and identify improvement areas.
- Be an integral cog in ensuring production development and improvement.
- Oversee and manage a production team, ensuring staff development.
This is just a summed-up list of responsibilities and other duties will be required.
Skills and Experience required:
- Experience in a similar supervisory role within manufacturing and/or production
- Proven success in motivating and developing staff members.
- LEAN manufacturing experience (Desirable)
- Ability to work to Quality and Health & Safety standards.
- Knowledge of manufacturing improvement methodology is highly desirable.
