Job Title: Part-Time Casework Coordinator

Location: Weston-Super-Mare

Salary: £19,600

Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week

On-call: 1 in 4 weeks (£100/week when on-call)

The Role:

As a Casework Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients to maintain their accommodation to a high standard of health and safety. You will assist them in managing their personal finances, such as helping with benefit claims and budgeting. You will also be responsible for keeping accurate records of all client interactions and supporting our Service Manager and Service Development Manager with reporting requirements.

Main Duties:

Client Support: Work closely with clients to understand and address their needs, focusing on health, safety, and financial management.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of all client interactions and progress.

Partnerships: Build and maintain effective relationships with external agencies, including criminal justice services, to support client needs and reduce re-offending.

Assessment: Conduct needs and risk assessments, developing tailored support plans for each client.

Flexible Working: Participate in a roster system that may include weekend and evening work as required.

Additional Duties: Carry out other tasks as directed by the Service Manager or senior staff within the scope of the role.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Driving: A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Business insurance will be required for roles involving travel.

Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviour, as well as experience with homeless or socially excluded populations.

Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, strong organisational abilities, and the capacity to manage challenging situations effectively.
