Finance Business Partner

Our exclusive client is a dynamic, growing, specialist manufacturing / processing business which is part of a larger, European Group with a number of sites across the UK.

Due to an internal promotion an opportunity has arisen for an dynamic, enthusiastic and commercial finance professional to join the business in a commercial Finance Business Partner role. Reporting to the MD and Group FD you will work closely with Group Finance in the review of monthly & quarterly management accounts so you can take these and add value before delivering the key messages to the business.

You will be the most senior finance person in the business and a key member of the management team. You will be professional but equally at home whether you are in the Boardroom or on the shop floor. The role will be varied and you will be key in defining and delivering it's key measurables, but it will include:-

  • Review of monthly management accounts
  • Detailed P&L review and bridge to budget through variance analysis
  • Monthly forecast review and re-forecast where necessary
  • Full commercial commentary and presentation to the Board
  • Analysis of margin, sales & costs and providing support for NPC analysis
  • Also gaining exposure to external clients as a key commercial contact within the business
  • Working closely with non-finance managers and staff across sales, operations, costing & procurement to deliver monthly performance analysis
  • Application of SMART objectives to lead consistent review and continuous improvement of processes, procedures and commercial strategy

Based in North Manchester, the business is well-established, profitable and growing. The successful candidate needs the confidence and track record to be able to add to the existing strength within the SLT to continue to move the business forward.
