Role: Senior Category Manager
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000
Location: Brimingham

Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Public Sector organisation in Birmingham, to recruit a Senior Category Manager.
Role:
- Lead on the delivery of procurement strategies that will maximise organisational successes
- Ensure everything is kept in line with relevant policies and procedures including the development of frameworks
- Act as the procurement expert for the relevant category and ensure category plans are delivered
- Ensure suppliers meet the KPIs set in all contractual agreements through clear and strong contract management
- Deliver collaborative procurement strategies to ensure best value procurements are completed
- Manage the Category Manager within your vertical
- Provide advice and guidance on any procurement issues and act as subject matter expert within Category
Person:
- MCIPS qualified
- Experience of managing staff
- Public Sector procurement experience
- Category Management experience in a large organisation
- Experience of working with senior level stakeholders
- Working knowledge of high-value, complex strategic procurement projects
