Job Description:

Who We Are

This organisation is guided by four principles: customer obsession rather than competitor focus, passion for invention, commitment to operational excellence, and long-term thinking. We are driven by the excitement of building technologies, inventing products, and providing services that change lives. We embrace new ways of doing things, make decisions quickly, and are not afraid to fail. We have the scope and capabilities of a large company, and the spirit and heart of a small one. Together, research and develop new technologies from Web Services to Alexa on behalf of our customers: shoppers, sellers, content creators, and developers around the world.

Our Mission

Our mission is to be Earth's most customer-centric company. Our actions, goals, projects, programs, and inventions begin and end with the customer top of mind. You'll also hear us say that at this organisation it's always "Day 1." What do we mean? That our approach remains the same as it was on this organisations very first day - to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and focus on delighting our customers.

The Role

This role is within a hybrid in-house creative team that sits on a global recruitment marketing team. The goal is for the hire to be fully integrated to the team and seamlessly work as an employee would. This role will be based in the Shoreditch, London at least two days a week with the option to work remote the rest of the time.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Ensure our assets appear consistently on-brand across our paid, owned and earned activation's.

  • Work in ‘Project Teams' to deliver content / full funnel briefs which ladder up to strategic business need.
  • Work with the Production Manager and Creative Director to deliver high-quality, scalable, on-brand content.
  • Deliver consistent artwork for all digital outputs – ensuring that high standards are maintained, with an eye-for-detail. Working with data to ensure we raise the bar with each concept.
  • Edit / shape content so that it works across multiple channels.
  • Provide light image retouching & colour correction support for assets when needed.
  • Contribute to our brand guidelines and be the custodian of ensuring all assets meet the required standard.
  • Own relationships and manage external agencies (where relevant).
  • Work with partnering teams to understand limitations of channels, ensuring all collateral has a ‘channel first' approach and isn't considered an afterthought.
  • Take initial designs and/or key visuals and adapt to various assets, formats, specs.
  • Produce digital banners, website and email headers, often working with toolkits or templates.
  • Help edit videos – adding and animating logos, headlines, subtitles, CTAs etc.
  • Ensuring all specifications are met – dimensions, file exports restrictions and clearance zones etc.
  • Ensuring artwork is delivered on time.

About You

  • Highly competent in using Photoshop (using artboards), XD (for prototyping) and Illustrator (creating/editing icons).
  • Video editing skills in After Effects or Final Cut Pro would be useful, but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of design foundations - layout, typography, iconography and photography.
  • Good understanding of digital design to ensure the creation of best-in-class assets.
  • Informed in the capabilities and limitations of digital assets across numerous devices – display advertising experience a plus.
