Client Details
Our West Kent based client are seeking a Management Accountant to join their small team on a full time and permanent basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this newly created role requires an experienced Management Accountant to complete the monthly accounts production as well as financial analysis and budgeting.
Please note; this role is office based Monday to Friday.
Description
Management Accountant duties include;
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Assisting with the annual budgeting process, identifying and actioning variances
- Financial forecasting and risk analysis
- Conduct profitability analysis, identifying opportunities to improve profitability
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborating with the Finance and other inhouse teams on financial projects
- Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts
Profile
The successful Management Accountant will have/be;
- ACCA or CIMA qualified is preferred
- Experience in Management Accounting
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices
- Proficient in financial modelling and analysis techniques
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial software
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
