Job Purpose
- Support a significant tax portfolio, primarily corporate taxation compliance and planning work
- Review financial documents to ensure accuracy for self-assessment returns
- Provide tax planning advice to minimise tax liabilities
- Be involved in advisory work, starting in corporate tax but broadening into reconstructions, sales and acquisitions
- Research and interpret changes to tax laws and regulations, ensuring understanding and compliance
- Build strong rapport with clients and colleagues alike, proactively handling queries and resolving issues
- Work closely with the senior management team to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met
- Support junior staff by reviewing work and knowledge sharing
- Champion professional development, undertaking regular training opportunities
