Production Operative (Packing)
Greenfield- MUST live within a commutable distance to Oldham, OL3
Salary: £11.75 plus an additional £1.10 late shift premium
Hours : 38 hours per week, your normal working pattern will be 13:45 - 22:00 Monday to Thursday with a 30 minute unpaid break and Friday 12:30 - 19:30 with a 30 minute paid break.

Role Brief
We are looking to expand our production team; therefore, we are recruiting for a Production Operative in our Packing department within our factory based in Greenfield, Oldham.
As a Production Operative (Packing), you will undertake full training and join our manufacturing team wrapping and packing the components for our beautiful Greenhouses and Glasshouses. The role of the packing operative is to work as part of a team to package our high-quality products in a timely and effective manner following the production schedule and procedures.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you must have experience within a fast-paced industry, flexible with the ability to work shift patterns and potential overtime where required and ability to meet deadlines.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Able to work as part of a team and individually to produce high quality products in a timely and effective manner.
- Must be able to think logically
- Experience working in a fast paced environment and used to working to a schedule
- Some manual lifting required
- Must be able to follow instructions and pack according to schedule
- Must have great attention to detail
- Must have excellent communications skills
- Must be flexible in approach with the ability to cover other shifts when required and have potential of working overtime to meet business needs
