An educational institution in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Digital and Computing Lecturer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Levels 2, 3, and T Levels. The specific campus and timetable details will be confirmed at a later stage.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver high-quality teaching in Digital and Computing subjects across Levels 2, 3, and T Levels.
- Prepare lesson plans and materials that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain up-to-date records of students' attendance, grades, and progress.
- Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure the content is current and relevant.
- Engage with students to inspire and motivate them in the field of digital and computing.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the department's success.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a relevant vocational area.
- A recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience in delivering digital and computing courses is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students.
