Organisational Development Business Partner

The successful candidate will to work with the HR & OD Team to ensure organisational development initiatives are integrated and support the achievement of the organisational business goals.

Hybrid working available.

Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Design and deliver organisational development and change management interventions and initiatives that support the organisation's ambition to be a high performing organisation and deliver the workforce strategy.
  • Lead on the delivery of organisational development initiatives and interventions working closely with Senior Leaders and managers to support and implement new ways of working and ensure that the skills and capacity of the workforce meet current and emerging organisational needs.
  • Ensure all organisational development interventions and programmes are cost effective and appropriately evaluated to measure the impact of investment and their impact on culture change and organisational effectiveness.
  • Work in partnership with HR colleagues and service areas to progress the workforce strategy and be a custodian of the organisation's culture by embedding our values and behaviours in all aspects of the OD service to bring about sustainable culture change.
  • Work with managers to successfully influence culture change programmes of work ensuring that systems are designed to meet new ways of working, values and behaviours, ensuring skills gaps are identified.
  • Review, develop and implement an organisational wide performance management framework that supports organisational objectives and sustains a culture of regular performance conversations and action.
  • Work with colleagues to develop and deliver interventions on general people management topics, subjects, and skills where a business need has been identified.
  • Actively support the implementation of the workforce strategy through coaching and mentoring, capability and performance, employee engagement, creating a high performing, inclusive and learning culture.
  • Work with the HR Business Partners on w o r k f o r c e planning processes so that managers understand the action necessary for them to create and sustain a positive work environment and culture within their teams, supporting them to identify the appropriate solutions to gaps identified that need to be addressed.
  • To prepare and present a full range of reports e.g., to Directorate and Senior Leadership Team meetings.

Personal Requirements:

  • Professional member of the CIPD at MCIPD or FCIPD, or equitable demonstrable experience or CIPD qualified to Level 7.
  • Evidence of continual professional development as a human resources practitioner.
  • A comprehensive knowledge of learning and organisational development matters and experience of translating these into effective programmes of delivery.
  • Experience of successfully influencing culture change supporting the development of a performance culture in organisations.
  • Experience of managing complex and difficult OD projects to a successful conclusion.
  • Proven OD experience with in-depth knowledge and experience of change management initiatives.
  • Knowledge of benefits of maximising the use of digital technologies.

Working Hours: 9:00am - 17:00pm / Mon - Fri

Salary: £49,083.00
