Are you an experienced Document Controller looking to make a significant impact on a major civils scheme in Merseyside? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to join a dynamic team and play a crucial role in the success of the project.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the document control process for the civils scheme, ensuring all project documents are accurately stored, updated, and distributed.
  • Maintaining document control systems and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely and efficient document flow.
  • Reviewing and verifying project documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Implementing document control procedures and providing training to project staff as needed.
  • Preparing reports and maintaining records to track document status and project progress.
  • Assisting in the preparation and submission of project documentation for audits and inspections.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller in the construction or civil engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in document management software and systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to document control.
  • Familiarity with civils schemes and construction project documentation is highly desirable.
