Role Overview:

As an BMS Support Technician, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and resolving technical issues remotely, focusing on Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS). Your responsibilities will involve providing top-notch customer service, guiding clients through troubleshooting processes, and maintaining precise records of all customer interactions. This position demands strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Respond to technical support queries via phone, email, or automated systems promptly and professionally.
  • Issue Diagnosis: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to BEMS hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Client Guidance: Walk clients through troubleshooting steps, providing clear feedback on issues, actions taken, and outcomes achieved.
  • Documentation: Accurately document all customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions in the company's systems.
  • Escalation: Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams, ensuring customer satisfaction remains high throughout the process.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: HNC or equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical engineering (preferred, not essential).
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in building services within commercial buildings, with an understanding of building plant and equipment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding the operation and purpose of BEMS.
  • Skills: Strong prioritization and organizational abilities, self-motivation, and the capacity to work independently.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to maintain collaborative relationships with customers and external service providers.
