About the Company:
Our client is a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) that specialises in delivering exceptional IT solutions and support to a diverse range of businesses. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a skilled 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their dedicated team.

Role Overview:
The 2nd Line Support Engineer will be responsible for providing high-level technical support and solutions to clients. This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Hyper-V, along with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience working within an MSP environment and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd line technical support to clients, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Hyper-V.
  • Work collaboratively with the 1st Line Support team to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Manage and maintain client infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Assist with the deployment and configuration of IT solutions for clients.
  • Document and update technical procedures and client information.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery and technical processes.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and maintaining strong relationships.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a 2nd Line Support role within an MSP environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Hyper-V.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Relevant IT certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or similar are desirable.
