I am recruiting an Accounts Payable Specialist to work for an award-winning international company based in Chippenham. Reporting to the motivated Team Leader and working in a friendly team, you will enjoy building relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. About the job:
- Scan and process invoices and staff expenses
- Raise POs for invoices.
- Match invoices with POs and liaise with the relevant departments regarding invoice queries.
- Answer account queries by telephone and resolve payment queries and discrepancies.
- Adjust accounting entries on the system or complete journal entries to ensure GL accounts used are correct.
- Reconcile monthly supplier statements.
- Update the purchase ledger database with supplier detail changes and liaise with the relevant teams.
- Review and resolve purchase ledger discrepancies.
- Prepare and send the electronic BACS run daily.
- Produce remittance advices and arrange payments.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure all payments due are correct and processed for payment on time.
- Perform daily and monthly closing processes for accounts payables.

About you:
- Previous accounts payable experience
- Intermediate Excel skills
