: 3 days in office and 2 WFH (fully office based for the first month for onboarding)

JGA are partnered with an exciting luxury tour operator, seeking a Management Accountant

to handle financial reporting, budgeting, and performance analysis. Ideal candidates will have a strong financial management background, preferably with travel industry experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily financial tasks including payment processing, client money receipts, and reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly KPI reports, quarterly VAT returns, management accounts, and year-end accounts for auditing
  • Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts
  • Conduct cost analysis and recommend savings opportunities
  • Manage foreign exchange transactions
  • Oversee payroll process handled by a third party
  • Prepare and submit reports to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA)
  • Monitor and manage cash flow
  • Assist in external audits and ensure compliance
  • Implement process improvements for financial reporting
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as needed

Qualifications:

  • ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualifications (Part Qualified or Full)
  • Minimum 3 years of management accounting experience, preferably in travel or hospitality
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial software
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy
