An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor ready to take the next step in their career. My client is a leading main contractor with a stellar reputation for delivering complex civil engineering projects across the UK. The Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor will join their growing team in West London and quickly become a key member of the team driving the project forward.

As a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor, you will:

  • Lead the MEP Cost Management: Oversee all MEP cost planning, estimation, and management activities.
  • Manage Budgets and Contracts: Ensure projects are delivered within budget, negotiate contracts, and manage sub-contractors.
  • Conduct Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with MEP components.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Deliver Reports and Documentation: Provide accurate financial reports and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

About you:

  • Experienced: Minimum of 5 years in quantity surveying with a focus on MEP systems.
  • Qualified: Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or similar field. RICS or equivalent professional accreditation is highly desirable.
  • Skilled Communicator: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proactive and Innovative: Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive positive change.
