Key Responsibilities :-
Rectify problems on mechanical assets such as conveyor belts, pumps,gearboxes,valves and cranes. Carry out Fabrication work and general workshop duties. Be responsible for PPM and reactive maintenance work, ensuring the highest standards are set and maintained. Assist with and actively participate in planned outages. Operate workshop machinery, fabrication and refurbishment. Communicate problems and concerns promptly through line management. Assist in delivering Maintenance Team KPI'S. Effectively use the site CMMS system. Participate in team briefings and toolbox talks. Ensure full compliance. Health and safety, enviromental standards, policies and procedures. Work safe and site safe under a safe system of work. Report any accidents, incidents and near misses.
Knowledge and experience of :-
Conveyor belts, Valves, Gearboxes, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems, Fabrication, Ability to read and work from mechanical drawings and documents, safe systems of work including permit to work, method statements and risk assessments, Ability to carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks, Ability to fault find and repair mechanical assets, Good communication, Experience writing risk assessments and method statements.
Hours :-
Week 1 - 8am to 4pm - Monday to Friday
Week 2 - 10pm to 6am - Monday to Friday
