This role calls for an adept Financial Accountant who will be responsible for the efficient management of financial records and reports. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of Accounting & Finance principles. Hybrid - 2 days a week in the office.

Description
- Lead the overheads forecasting, budgeting, cost tracking & reporting process
- Provide regular & ad hoc analysis on overhead spends to key stakeholders
- Drive & provide financial support on all overhead related projects
- Continually look for and challenge ways of reducing overhead cost
- Ensure all Supply co accounting & reporting is timely, complete &accurate
- Review and follow up on relevant monthly balance sheet reconciliation
- Work with tax and other finance teams to ensure tax and other financial reporting is timely and accurate
- Work with Shared Service Center and business stakeholders to ensure appropriate process are being followed and KPIs achieved for all SSC work associated with your areas of responsibility
- Deliver on Internal Audit requirements, finance projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and other ad hoc work on a need basis

Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- Strong SAP experience (or similar system)
- Strong Excel skills
- Able to build positive working relationships with stakeholders from across the business
- Able to clearly communicate financial information to non-financial people
- Be a confident communicator
- A process driven and continuous improvement mindset
- A desire to take responsibility and ownership and make a difference
- Flexibility to take on different activities as and when the need arises
- Similar role previous experience advantageous (preferably in Retail or FMCG)
