A supportive Special Needs School in Bracknell is looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time. This school provides specialized education for students with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, and complex learning needs, in a warm, inclusive environment that values every child's potential.
Your Role as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Support the classroom teacher in daily activities, offering one-on-one assistance to students as needed.
- Engage in lessons and activities that make the classroom a fun and positive learning environment.
- Assist with behavior management, encouraging students to make positive choices.
- Contribute to students' academic, social, and emotional growth by fostering a caring, supportive atmosphere.
Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals, whether professional or personal (such as a family member with additional needs), would be beneficial. A background in Psychology, Criminology, or a related field is also a plus, though a caring attitude and enthusiasm are the most essential qualities.
