We are excited to present a new opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a well-established logistics business, based near Oldbury. This is a full-time, permanent role with flexible working arrangements.

About the client:

Our client is a dynamic group logistics company, family owned. They have established a robust internal infrastructure to support their head office, ensuring a stable and structured back office. This enables them to maintain high-quality local service to their clients while also offering the additional services you might expect from a large corporate business. The group has thrived through strategic investments, sales, and continues to expand and that is why they are now looking for a Management Accountant to join the team and support their Finance Manager.

About the role:

This newly created position, resulting from the company's rapid growth, involves completing monthly management accounts for multiple entities, FP&A for further growth. You will work closely with the Operational Directors of the entities to provide them with detailed financial reporting and analysis of accounts and create best accounting practices across the business. The role provides significant opportunities for career progression and involvement in exciting projects alongside daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and produce monthly management accounts.
  • FP&A work.
  • Conduct accounts analysis.
  • Manage VAT returns.
  • Participate in project work.
  • Perform ad hoc additional duties as required.

About you:

The ideal candidate will be a finalist / qualified Management Accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) with experience in producing accounts, budgeting, forecasting and some commercial acumen. You should be ambitious and eager for an opportunity that offers progression and personal growth. Our client seeks a hands-on professional who can also collaborate effectively with non-finance stakeholders in a senior capacity.

Requirements:

  • ACCA, ACA, or CIMA finalist / qualified.
  • Previous experience working with multiple entities.
  • Proven experience in creating full management accounts within a logistics business.
  • FP&A experience.
