We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Controller based in Bathgate for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is a large, growing and reputable manufacturer and supplier of construction equipment on a national and international scale.
Responsibilities of the Service Controller
- Takes the lead in answering all inbound calls in a swift and efficient manner, obtaining customer details, order numbers or other authorisation when required.
- To close and invoice jobs in a manner justifying costs incurred to both external and internal customers and ensure effective management of the depots WIP.
- Take the lead in dealing with suppliers, raising purchase order numbers and closing these on good arrival.
- Processing and dealing with credit notes
- Handling process of petty cash
Requirements for a successful Service Controller
- Experience working within a similar role.
- Warranty parts and service experience in the construction/plant industry.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Flexible approach to work.
- Calm under pressure and able to handle multiple workloads.
- Well organised.
- Computer literate and can effectively use MS applications.
