**Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Temporary Compliance Officer to support the Hard FM (Facilities Management) statutory compliance programme for all corporate buildings. The role involves ensuring the completion of surveys and planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), managing documentation, and recommending remedial actions to maintain the council's statutory responsibilities in accordance with both council and industry best practices.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Hard FM Compliance Programme:

  • Assist in the execution of the Hard FM statutory compliance programme across all corporate buildings.

  • Ensure that all necessary surveys and PPMs are completed on schedule.

  • Documentation Management:

  • Collect, review, and accurately file all compliance-related documentation.

  • Ensure all records are maintained in accordance with the council's and industry best practice standards.

  • Compliance Reviews and Recommendations:

  • Analyse documentation to identify areas requiring remedial action.

  • Prepare and present recommendations for remedial work to appropriate decision-makers.

  • Regulatory Adherence:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory regulations and industry standards.

  • Stay updated on changes in compliance regulations and best practices.

  • Reporting:

  • Generate regular reports on compliance status, survey outcomes, and PPM completion.

  • Communicate findings and progress to the Compliance Manager and relevant stakeholders.

**Qualifications:

  • Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Facilities Management, Engineering, Compliance, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience:

  • Proven experience in a compliance role, preferably within facilities management.

  • Familiarity with statutory compliance requirements for corporate buildings.

  • Skills:

  • Strong organisational and documentation management skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management software.
