Accounts Assistant

Jenson Fisher are delighted to be partnering with our Aberdeen based fast growth and established SME client to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent, full time basis as a result of continued business growth.

Our client possess a fully qualified team with extensive years of experience, providing unrivalled service, sales and installations across their industry, with this high level of service backed up by an extremely strong customer base from a wide range of business sectors throughout Tayside, Grampians, Moray and the Highlands of Scotland.

The Role – Accounts Assistant

Reporting into the Accounts Manager as the Accounts Assistant you will be tasked with ensuring that daily financial and accounting tasks are achieved accurately and on time whilst providing a strong support function to the wider business, as directed by the Operations Director. You will ideally have experience in a similar role and be a confident user of both accounting packages, ideally Sage or similar and Microsoft Excel.

On a daily basis, your responsibilities will include:

  • Purchase ledger processing.
  • Sales ledger including credit control.
  • Issuing PO numbers as required.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Collation of time and attendance for payroll purposes.
  • Resolving any accounts queries both from on site staff and off-site engineers.
  • Providing financial information to senior management as required.
  • Assisting with the production of financial reports on a monthly and annual basis.
  • General accounts administration.
