Ducting Hygiene Technician

Pay Rate:
£13.00 per hour
Work Schedule:
7.5 hours per shift, variety of shifts (any 5 out of 7 days)
We are looking for dedicated and hardworking Ducting Hygiene Technicians to join our client's team. In this role, you will work in small groups to perform preventative maintenance and cleaning services on a variety of ventilation systems at customer premises.
Main Duties:
- Undertake preventative maintenance of ventilation systems.
- Perform cleaning services for a variety of ventilation systems.
- Work in small groups to carry out tasks.
- Ensure ventilation systems are cleaned to the correct standard.
- Adhere to required Fire Safety and Food Hygiene Regulations.
- Learn and apply safe chemical use in cleaning processes.
- Work in challenging conditions.
- Develop skills to potentially fast-track into junior or senior management roles.
- Assist in the company's growth by meeting customer expectations.
- Maintain good working relationships with suppliers, colleagues, and staff.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- A can-do attitude and the ability to see the potential for business growth
- Flexibility and willingness to work shifts, including night shifts
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work to a schedule and meet strict deadlines
- Strong organisational skills
- Well-disciplined and able to manage workloads effectively
- Commitment to meeting or exceeding client expectations
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance
- Experience in the industrial/specialist cleaning business, particularly with ventilation/kitchen deep cleans, is preferred but not essential
- Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic
- Committed team player attitude
- Knowledge of safe chemical use and ability to work in challenging conditions is beneficial
