Interim Accountant
Ipswich
£200 - £250 per day
Contract: up to 6 months
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to provide interim support to our client in Ipswich. The ideal candidate will be adept at producing management reports, analysing financial data, and supporting strategic decisions.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Produce monthly management reports and accounts.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Business partner with senior management to review financial performance.
- Manage contract pricing and support budgeting processes.
- Analyse KPIs to inform strategic direction.
- Assist with financial aspects of contract transitions.
- Improve working capital through effective debt and stock management.
- Support budget, forecast preparation, and financial reporting.
- Contribute to financial system migrations and control improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in financial accounting and reporting.
- Strong analytical and business partnering skills.
- Good Microsoft Excel skills.
- Familiarity with financial systems and ERPs.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work collaboratively.
