Workchain is currently seeking a Drivers Mate to join our client based in Thirsk. This is a temporary position within the driving industry, offering a competitive pay rate of £11.44 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the driver with the safe delivery of goods to various locations
- Loading and unloading goods from the vehicle
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently
- Providing excellent customer service to clients and customers
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a drivers mate is advantageous but not essential
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Good physical fitness as the role may involve heavy lifting
- A valid UK driving license is preferred but not essential
