My client is a public sector organisation in South Yorkshire looking for an interim Senior Finance Business Partner on a six-month contract. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of four Management Accountants and Finance Business Partners, overseeing their activity in budget monitoring cycles
- Managing established relationships with non-finance stakeholders
- Leading on the upcoming budgeting process
- Sense-checking management accounts and reporting variances to senior leadership.
This post would especially suit those who have seen a Housing and/or Local Authority environment before. The team aims to gather in the South Yorkshire office three times per week.

- Ideally hold a full accountancy qualification, though those with strong applicable experience can be considered without this.
