Absolute are working with an established Construction business, who are on the look out for a permanent Accounts Assistant on a full time permanent basis. Based out of the London HQ you will be offered hybrid working, a flexible working environment and a clear progression pathway.
As an Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for the transactional finance duties including invoice processing, dealing with supplier queries, bank reconciliations and assisting with the month-end close.
Key responsibilities: (but not limited to)
- Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
- Payment run processing and input of invoices into the purchase ledger
- Uploading payments to online banking systems
- Assisting with posting nominal ledger journals on accounting systems
- Providing support to financial accountant in preparation of management accounts
- Assisting with any ad hoc information requests
Key skills:
- At least 1-2 years experience working in a similar role
- Experience with invoice processing and payments
- Degree educated or studying towards an AAT/ACCA/CIMA would be beneficial
- A background within the Construction industry s highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised and has strong IT skills including MS Excel
