An exciting opportunity to join a reputational market leader and industry standard setter in our core business of Accountancy & Finance recruitment - this means a strong commercial foundation for your business and greater reliability of commission earnings.

This vacancy focuses within the faster moving hiring space supporting our clients with permanent and temporary vacancies such as Accounts Clerks, Credit Controllers, Payrollers, Accounts Payable, Accounts Assistants, Bookkeepers and AAT studiers and qualified AAT Technicians. You'd work with a well-established client base across Shropshire and Powys with Seymour John holding the market leading position in this territory for the Accountancy & Finance specialism. You will receive unwavering support from colleagues who have lived and breathed the transactional finance market for over 20 years between them.

This is a 360-degree Recruitment Consultant job interfacing with our candidates and clients to deliver the full service from beginning to end. We have outstanding administration and back-office support to allow you to focus your time on adding value to your customers.

We believe that if we want to be the best from our customer's perspective, then we need to equip ourselves with the best tools available to help them.

The Rewards

Seymour John offer industry leading reward packages, which include a generous basic salary with uncapped commission. For example, a Principal Consultant delivering £150,000 annually in fees/temporary margin will be able to earn over £60,000. Generate £200,000 in fees and you'll be earning over £75,000.

We also offer 30 days' holiday, in addition to your eight statutory days, plus your birthday if it falls on a working day.

Underlining our genuine commitment to your well-being we provide AXA Private Healthcare to all employees and their children after a qualifying 6-month period.

We offer flexible working between home and the office; we are open to part time or full time working.

Our pension offer is above baseline at 4% matched contributions and we are happy to arrange higher pension contributions through salary sacrifice.

What we expect from you

We believe the opportunity would be better suited to someone with at least 3-5 years' sales experience right through to Associate Director level. Whatever your backstory, it's essential that you have the character to maintain our high standards in integrity, passion, and care.
