We are seeking a dedicated Sales and Invoicing Assistant to join our team in Coventry. This role is pivotal in supporting our day-to-day business operations, providing essential accounting administration and ensuring efficient sales and purchase invoicing processes.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide accounting administration support to the department, focusing on sales and purchase invoicing.
  • Perform daily invoicing tasks and manage data entry, retrieval, and database maintenance.
  • Work closely with the Technical and Commercial teams to produce and prepare accurate quotations for customers.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, manage filing and archiving both manually and electronically.
  • Manage incoming telephone calls from new and existing customers, subcontractors, and internal departments, building strong relationships.
  • Complete internal and external daily reports using Excel and provide clear, concise weekly and monthly reports for stakeholders.
  • Perform general administrative duties and manage a booking diary, prioritising workload to meet all customer requirements and expectations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Trustworthy and reliable with strong ethical standards and loyalty.
  • Proficient in Excel; experience with Sage 50 is desirable.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Full UK Driving License is essential due to the location of sites.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
