We are working with a growing design and engineering consultancy. They are recruiting a number of people to deal with their growth.
We are seeking an experienced Draughtsperson with a proven track record in managing teams and delivering high-quality engineering drawings.
The successful candidate will oversee a team comprising Senior and Junior Draughtspersons as well as Apprentices, ensuring the timely and accurate production of engineering drawings across various projects.
You will have a HND/HNC (or equivalent in Engineering)
You will have a wealth of knowledge in an Engineering/Civils environment, a strong working knowledge of relevant software
- Microstation Connect, SolidEdge, NX or Open Utilities Substation
You will also hold a UK Driving licence
You will be:
Managing the production of high quality engineering drawings.
Responsibility for team deliverables to the Design Department
Provide Engineering CAD expertise
Manage workflow of the team to meet deadlines
Produce and manage the team to produce a wide range of CAD drawings using different software
Undertake QA/QC checks across a broad range of engineering CAD deliverables
It would suit an Engineering Manager, a Designer, a Project Engineer, an M&E Engineer
