Heavy Plant Business Deveopment Executive

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for promoting and selling the full range of plant and material handling and access equipment supplied across a diverse customer base covering but not limited to Agriculture, Construction, Timber, Oil & Gas and Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Further relationships with existing customers.
  • Generating and developing new business sales opportunities.
  • Provide technical advice and solutions tailored to customer's requirements.
  • Carry out detailed site surveys to identify equipment specifications.
  • Develop comprehensive proposals and present your recommendations to customers through meetings and presentations.
  • Liaise with Manufacturers and attend training courses to develop product knowledge.

Job requirements/key skills

  • Be highly motivated with good interpersonal skills.
  • Professional attitude/attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn/develop commercial and business awareness.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Strong negotiation skills and an ability to develop solid business argument.
  • Effective planning and organisation skills
  • PC literate with a knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • A full clean UK drivers' licence is required.
  • Proven sales record in a similar environment would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided.
