Job Title: Credit Controller
Salary: £22,000 to £25,000
Location: Birmingham
Bell Cornwall Recruitment are pleased to be hiring a Credit Controller for a fantastic legal company in Birmingham.
The Candidates responsibilities:
- The candidate would be responsible for being proactive and calling/emailing business to chase debt.
- Having previous experience as a Credit Controller or Collections Advisor would be beneficial when it comes to completing the general Credit Control duties.
- Collaboration with lawyers to discuss appropriate terms and conditions for debt repayment.
- Be able to review, analyse and improve all processes and queries.
- Be confident when it comes to decision making and speaking with clients of all size.
- Communicating with other departments to resolve any issues and chase held up payments.
- Identifying areas of high risk and reporting this.
- Maintaining regular contact with clients to ensure all payments are made in a timely manner.
- Supporting the larger team.
- General Admin and Credit Control duties.
The Candidates requirements:
- Experience within Credit Control desirable.
- Excellent telephony and written skills are necessary.
- Excel skills are essential - someone who can figure their way around this software.
- A proactive, energetic and adaptable individual.
