Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a business in Leeds who are recruiting a Credit Controller. This is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. You will be involved in a project to clear aged debt.
Location: Leeds City Centre (free-parking available and accessible by train)
Salary: Up to £30k FTE
Job Type: Full-Time, 9:00am-5:00pm (Office-based)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clear aged debt (roughly £1.5m)
- Reconcile accounts
- Chase debt by telephone and email
- Conduct meetings with tenants
- Liaise with tenant to discuss repayment plans
- Explain reasons for outstanding arrears/payments
- Make recommendations to write off bad debt
- Work closely with Fund & Property Managers to help them understand circumstances with tenants & non-payments
You will need to demonstrate:
- Experienced within Credit Control
- Can hit the ground running with minimal guidance/training
- Experience with reconciliations
- Experience with Tramps/Bluebox (desirable)
