I am searching for a talented and motivated Architectural Technologist with excellent technical abilities to join a knowledgeable team in Bury St Edmunds. The practice provides client-led, sustainable designs within the commercial and residential sectors and has a range of new projects on the horizon.
The successful Architectural Technologist will have strong technical abilities, excellent knowledge of current UK building regulations and should be confident completing planning applications. Ideally, you will have worked on Commercial and Residential projects and should be comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
Skills, Responsibilities and Experience for the role of Architectural Technician:
- Relevant degree or an HNC/HND in Architectural Technology
- Sufficient experience post qualification
- Strong technical abilities
- Excellent knowledge of current UK building regulations
- Complete planning applications
- Liaise with clients to create detailed technical drawings
- Confident liaising with clients to ensure their brief is met
- Ensure that all deadlines are met to the highest standard
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient using a range of industry standard software
- Must live within a commutable distance of Bury St Edmunds
