Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Reed Property and Construction are delighted to be working with one of the Uks leading Surfacing Contractors. We are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic Commercial team. Day to Day of the role:

Prepare, maintain, and process financial and project transactions.

Analyse project costs and prepare monthly cost reports, including commentary on any variances.

Conduct site visits for inspections.

Liaise with all levels of the construction and professional team, including clients.

Value completed work and apply for payments.

Utilise systems and processes for effective measurement of commercial performance.

Assist in providing accurate, real-time, monthly reports (Cost Value Reconciliations) and final outcome forecasts.

Attend meetings onsite or elsewhere with Site Teams, Clients, Suppliers, and other parties as required.

Support the Commercial and Sales team with administrative tasks and ad-hoc duties.

for this role the candidate will have a Construction related degree ideally in Quantity Surveying,

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with various stakeholders.

Proficiency in relevant software and systems for financial and project management.

Motivated with a desire to learn and progress within the commercial sector.
