We are now looking for a Product Design Engineer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37 hours per week.

The Role

As a Product Design Engineer, you will support our products through their development phases, enabling them to be sent to the marketplace.

Specifically, in this varied role, you will project manage new products and take them from development to manufacture and sale.

On a day-to-day basis, you will undertake CAD work, build and experiment with instruments, manage supplier relationships, and create user manuals, build manuals and quality testing systems to support product manufacture and sale.

Additionally, you will:

  • Develop new products from customer requests or internal projects
  • Create manufacturing drawings, parts lists and build guides
  • Identify new processes that could improve or streamline the manufacturing process
  • Ensure compliance with all aspects of SHEQ requirements

About You

To be considered as a Product Design Engineer, you will need:

  • Mechanical and/or engineering experience and/or qualifications
  • CAD skills
