My client is seeking an experienced Probate Paralegal to join their team based in Tunbridge Wells. You will be working to support the partners and solicitors in the team on probate matters, and also supporting the wider private client team when required.
Responsibilities
- Assisting fee earners in managing probate matters and supporting in areas such as wills, estate planning, and tax when required
- Preparing and filing probate documents
- Conducting legal research on relevant case law, and regulations relating to private client matters
- Communicating with clients to provide updates and answering their queries
- Drafting correspondence and legal documents
About you
- Minimum of 1 years of experience working as a paralegal within a private client department
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and documentation related to private client
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask, prioritise assignments, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work
- Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
