As they continue to grow, they are seeking a skilled FP&A Analyst to join the established finance team. This role is integral to their strategic planning and decision-making processes, offering a great opportunity to contribute to the business's ongoing success.

Position Overview:

As an FP&A Analyst, you will be responsible for providing financial insights and analysis that support all business objectives. Working closely with various departments, you will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, helping to shape the financial future of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Forecasting: Develop and manage financial models to support the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyse financial results, identify key trends, and provide insights to drive business decisions and improve performance.
  • Strategic Support: Collaborate with business units to offer financial guidance and support on strategic initiatives.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial variances.
  • Commercial Insight: Evaluate market conditions, competitor performance, and industry trends to inform and guide business strategies.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing efficiency and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting processes.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support special projects, business development, and operational improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modelling; familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and commercially-minded individual with a passion for driving business performance.
