As an Occupational Therapist you will:
- Provide comprehensive assessments to identify students' needs and develop personalised therapy plans.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to enhance students' sensory, motor, and self-help skills.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a holistic approach to student development.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and review progress.
- Utilise your creativity to adapt activities and environments to meet each student's unique requirements.
- Continuously evaluate and document the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions to ensure positive outcomes.
As an Occupational Therapist you will have:
- Qualified Occupational Therapist with relevant experience (SEN experience preferred).
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- A passion for working with children with special educational needs and a commitment to their well-being.
