Management Accountant

The ROLE
Due to continued expansion of their European Headquarters an opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Management Accountant to join their team. Responsibilities will include;
Month End:
- Produce monthly financial statements
- Conduct month end and year end processes
- Prepare schedule and process journals for monthly accruals and prepayments for material value costs
- Prepare commentary on monthly financials against budgets
Reporting:
- Reconcile Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss accounts
- Business KPIs.
- Assist the Financial Controller in the production of annual budgets
- Labour productivity and cost absorption
- Help with annual financial audits
- Produce ad hoc reports as required to support the business
Supervise Purchase Ledger:
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the purchase ledger team
- Review weekly supplier payments
The CANDIDATE
The successful Management Accountant (allied to the desire, ability and confidence to forge a career within a market leading organisation) the right candidate will possess;
- Good relevant academic background
- Ideally working towards CIMA or ACCA qualification
- Experience within a similar position
- Understanding of UK & international VAT
- This role is office based so must live within a commutable distance
