VNA Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Skilled Repairs Operative. for our client based in Sutton. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional specialising in jetting and/or Skyvac operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving infrastructure through expert repair and maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-pressure jetting operations to clear blockages and maintain drainage systems
- Operate Skyvac equipment for effective and safe high-level cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of drainage and guttering systems to identify and rectify issues
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of work undertaken, including reports and photographic evidence where required.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and provide solutions in a timely manner
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with the latest industry practices and technologies
Requirements:
- Proven experience in jetting and/or Skyvac operations is essential
- Relevant certifications and qualifications in high-pressure jetting and Skyvac operation
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to drainage and high-level cleaning operations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Flexibility to travel to various locations as required
