What you'll do:
As the Head of Data & Tech - Workplace, you will play a pivotal role in defining the technology strategy for this business area. You will work closely with various teams across the organisation to deliver data and technology solutions that align with the overall business strategy. Your responsibilities will also include managing technology vendors, ensuring secure design for new initiatives, and providing regular performance reports. This role requires a strong leader who can effectively collaborate with different teams to drive technological advancements within the organisation.
- Define the Workplace technology strategy for this business area, in line with global technology strategy
- Prepare and participate in business planning to agree annual budgets for Workplace D&T
- Deliver data and technology solutions working collaboratively with the Group Enterprise Architecture function
- Ensure secure by design for any new initiatives, supporting in-flight cyber programmes
- Manage technology vendors for the software and hardware procured
- Provide regular reporting on portfolio, support, vendor and financial/budget performance
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Head of Data & Tech - Workplace position brings a wealth of experience in delivering insight initiatives through various analytics approaches. You have familiarity with both waterfall and agile ways of working and has managed cross-functional teams. Your background includes delivering solutions across the real estate value chain and exposure to AI/GenAI/machine learning in delivering real estate tech solutions. You have excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence change across business lines at a senior level. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively drive business, culture, and technology change in a dynamic environment.
- Proven experience in delivering insight initiatives through diagnostic, descriptive, predictive or prescriptive analytics approaches
- Familiarity with waterfall and agile ways of working - scrum, kanban etc., managing cross functional teams
- Experience in delivering solutions across the real estate value chain i.e., to support development, marketing, operate assets etc.
- Exposure to AI / GenAI / machine learning in delivering real estate tech solutions
- Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills: Able to work across business lines at a senior level to influence and effect change
- Strong communication skills: Ability to effectively drive business, culture and technology change in a dynamic environment
