Your new role
It will be a full-time job role within the design department, which is suited to someone who is a problem solver and can also provide solutions to all department within the company.
The Design Engineer will be working alongside the sales team. You'll be designing different types of equipment to suit their customer's needs. Liaising with their in-house production team, you'll be expected to produce BOM / Part Drawing / Assembly Drawing and help with any QC problems the production team may have. Once the projects have been designed and manufactured, you'll be helping their installation team with any queries they may have. This role will suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to help different departments within the company. Hard work is rewarded throughout the company, with many employees progressing upwards and lateral in the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will have at least five years of experience within Mechanical Design Engineering within a manufacturing environment. Desirable experience would be a confident Inventor user as well as a history of working in a sheet metal / fabrication background. This is a dynamic team of creative designers, so you'll have the ability to work within a team but also effectively on your own whilst carrying out projects.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive an excellent base salary of between £37,000 and £42,000 plus additional benefits, including an early finish on Friday.
