The school was founded in the early 20th Century, however in recent years have experienced significant redevelopments in the previous 10 years and now boast state of the art facilities, and classrooms that inspire learning. The English department has a vision of brining English to life, with preparing a literate 21st Century student at the bedrock of their curriculum. This vision is highlighted by the resources in the English department featuring iPads, Laptops and up to date written literature preparing students understanding and competency for the texts they will encounter in adult life. The English department at the school is led by a Head of Department who has been with the school for over 5 years, and has overseen a fantastic rise in student achievement. They are a friendly team and are looking for a new teacher to join them in the next part of the year.

The role:
- September 2024 start
- Temporary appointment until Christmas, potentially leading to a permanent appointment
- Outer London MPS / UPS
- Interviews w/c 14/10
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a proven track record of excellent teaching.
- Enhanced DBS certificate to ensure a safe learning environment.
- Open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs), offering a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
- A strong drive and determination to progress students' artistic skills and overall learning.
