Position: Corporate Solicitor (2-4+ PQE)
A national corporate team of a top rated law firm offers comprehensive legal services, focusing on corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, management buy-outs, and trade sales. Representing private equity funds, fund managers, investee companies, and management teams. Additionally, handling company reorganisations, joint ventures, shareholder agreements, and corporate governance advice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a personal caseload of corporate transactions and company law advisory work.
- Assist colleagues with transactional and advisory projects.
- Draft, review, and negotiate transactional and corporate documents.
- Advise clients on corporate matters.
- Maintain regular client communication.
- Participate in business development activities.
- Attend client meetings and visits.
- Liaise with internal and external parties.
- Complete management information procedures as needed.
- Achieve financial and chargeable targets.
- Adhere to deadlines, quality measures, and KPIs.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Corporate Solicitor (2-4+ PQE).
- Experience in private M&A transactions.
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Excellent drafting, research, and IT skills.
- Self-motivated, with strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills.
