Residential Estate Director - London W1

The Role:

The Estate Director will be the face of this prestigious development and the most senior person on site, responsible for a team of staff. The expected completion date is Q4 2024, however the successful candidate will join the team at least three months prior to completion to mobilise the site and implement the management for the property. The candidate will play an integral role in launching the scheme to ensure an impeccable service is delivered from day one.

The Candidate: This is a highly empowered position requiring the ability to motivate, cultivate and mentor a staff team devoted to achieving the highest standards of resident satisfaction and exceptional service. The Estate Director will be an ambassador for the brand and the development, responsible for creating an atmosphere of 'home' for its discerning residents, while delivering the very best in terms of quality and service. They will ensure the multiple service elements operate effectively across the entire development, supported by a client representative and the property management team. The successful candidate will have significant experience within high-end, super prime residential schemes, in 5* world-class hospitality or private residential estates. They will bring skills that have been acquired in these areas, including:

  • Delivering the highest levels of service and setting the bar for boutique, super-prime residential developments in London, understanding the importance of going the extra mile.
  • Establishing excellent relationships with residents, contractors, and team members alike.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the needs and lifestyles of high profile and High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) and Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UNHWI).
  • Must be assertive, show initiative and have a very keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to create specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely action plans to drive culture of the residence services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a best-in-class property management service provision across the development.
  • Be an ambassador for the scheme, first point of call for client, residents, and other service providers.
  • Ensure that the cultures are threaded throughout the guest and team member experience.
  • Nurture and motivate an energetic and engaging team.
  • Provide knowledge and skills to drive business performance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years General Management experience required. This could be from luxury hospitality, residential or private yacht / cruise ship background.
  • Experience of dealing with service charges or budgets of £1m plus.
  • Fluent in English. Language skills in other languages preferable.
  • In-depth health and safety knowledge, IOSH/NEBOSH preferred.
  • Strong network of current contacts within London luxury services and hospitality.
