Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and assistance in the Design and Technology (DT) department.
- Maintain and manage DT equipment and resources, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
- Assist in the preparation and organisation of practical lessons, including setting up machinery and tools.
- Offer guidance to students on the safe and effective use of DT equipment.
- Support the teaching staff in delivering engaging and high-quality DT lessons.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the DT workshops.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a DT Technician role or a similar technical support position is essential.
- Strong knowledge of DT equipment, tools, and materials.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
