Science Technician Position

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a vibrant secondary school in Lambeth, looking for a skilled Science Technician to join their team in November. If you have a background in science and enjoy supporting education in a hands-on environment, this could be a great opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up equipment and materials for science practicals.
- Assist teachers and students during laboratory sessions, ensuring a safe learning space.
- Maintain and organise lab equipment, chemicals, and other materials.
- Handle routine maintenance and calibration of lab instruments.
- Manage the inventory of science supplies.
- Follow health and safety guidelines in the lab.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Science Technician in a school or a science-related degree.
- Strong understanding of lab procedures and safety protocols.
- Confident in handling scientific materials and equipment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Salary: £13.00 - £15.50 per hour, depending on experience.

To be successful, you'll need:
- A Science degree and relevant lab experience, ideally in a school.
